Day 1 - I was lucky to start my graduate program during ´Digital Week´. Organized by the Digital team at PepsiCo Benelux, I enjoyed a special week of workshops about AI, VR and 3D-printing. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I couldn’t imagine a better start! After the first day full of laughing, listening to interesting guest speakers and some tasty snacks and beverage samples, I was tired but also thrilled to start in the office in Zaventem.

Packed-full days
The next days were packed-full as I needed to meet everyone from the team. Each day of week 1, I came home with ´information-overload´, but it was fun!

Young PepsiCo Weekend
The week kept getting better. Great news reached me when I heard at the end of the week was the ´Young PepsiCo Weekend´. Two days full of business cases, sightseeing, food and spending time with amazing people from PepsiCo Benelux. My team got first place for the business case (check out our great and huge prize on the pic below). My manager was one of the judges; the result: A good first impression was set!

The rest of the weekend I needed to recover because Monday I flew to London to start my graduate program with the other Go Grads from the PepsiCo Go Challenge. Unbelievably it was already my third business tripin one week!

London is calling
What followed were three days full-packed with informative and inspiring meetings. I met so many people from the Digital Team located all over the world and was inspired by how creative and driven they were. Thanks to this week the terms ‘Digital Marketing’ and ‘eCommerce’ became clearer to me. On top of that, I got a lot of inspiration. But what might be the most important thing that I’ve learned from this week is the fact that PepsiCo’s culture is amazing. We were motivated to come up with ideas, take initiative and do whatever it takes to make our dreams come true.

Dream big
Dream big is what they said, make the best of it…or make it even better. You see each person is passionate at PepsiCo and we believe we can be involved in inventing the future.

It was sad to say goodbye, but we will collaborate with each other as a driven, creative and maybe a little bit of a kooky team, who can’t wait to develop and use our superpowers as Digital heros!
