The Consumer Insights department is responsible for all the quantitative and qualitative research for all the categories within the business unit. Supporting company decision making process by providing relevant & decision critical consumer insights, information and analysis in a timely and cost efficient manner.
The Research Manager needs to provide deep and actionable knowledge leadership through in-depth understanding of our brands and consumers.
It is imperative to leverage and convert data form numerous sources and act as an internal consultant in order to drive our growth agenda.
Essential Job Functions
The person in this role will lead the delivery of quality, timely and superior planning insights into brands, consumers and new business opportunities and challenges facing PEPSICO in NEBU.
He/she will assess findings and derive conclusions and make actionable recommendations that can help drive the business and brands forward.
The major responsibilities are:
- To establish excellent reporting of continuous tracking and monitoring studies: (circa 40% of time).

To assist in the delivery of superior planning insights which help to drive a pro-active and future focused planning agenda for the Brands Team

To conduct excellent analysis which will aid strategy evaluation to the marketing team for the annual planning cycles.
- To conduct excellent pre-testing and evaluation to ensure the most efficient marketing programs are enacted by the business

To ensure effective communication of research insights throughout the business and to proactively identify and raise opportunities and risks with management
- To lead development of information supplier relationships & identify improved marketing information sources
Accountabilities
- You are responsible for all the continuous tracking within PepsiCo NEBU.
- You will be responsible for all research on the Smiths and Cheetos brands and will assist on specific projects under the Lays brand.
- In each stage of the research you are involved in a pro-active way
- Analyzing of data by suitable software or advising research bureaus
- Recommendations for the type of research method and the research agencies
- Evaluation of new research methods
- Improving of internal processes
- Supporting the strategic planning processes by providing relevant trends, insights and views based on histrocial research.
- Planning and overseeing of periodical reviews.
